1 c. butter, softened
1 T. pure Vanilla Extract
1 c. sugar
2 c. all purpose flour
1 egg
1/4 t. salt

Preheat oven to 350˚F. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg; beat well. Blend in Vanilla Extract. Combine flour and salt, add to creamed mixture.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls on to ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 36 cookies.
