Corn tortillas
Shredded chicken or turkey (seasoned with a little broth, cumin, & chili powder.)
Sauce: Green tomatoes, onions, garlic, hot peppers, salt, & cumin.
Whiz sauce ingredients in the blender.
Fry tortillas slightly hard.
Dunk tortillas in warm sauce & put into greased casserole dish.
Put some sauce on tortilla & fasten with a toothpick.
Put more green sauce on top.
Heat in oven until hot.
Garnish with generous scoop of sour cream, then chopped onion.
(Note: the above sauce is a simple Salsa Verde. Try it on or with any Mexican dish. May add another chili pepper or two - to taste.)
