Ingredients

1 heaping cup Crisco
4 eggs, beaten
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 c. sugar
1 qt. buttermilk
5 tsp soda
4 c. Kellog All-Bran

Cooking Instructions

Mix together 2 c. boiling water and 2 c. all bran. Cream Crisco and sugar together. Add eggs, milk and soaked bran. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add the rest of bran and fold until moistened. Store in refrigerator covered. Will keep up to 6 weeks. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
