2 tbsp yeast
1/4 warm water 1/4 c. Sugar
2 tsp nutmeg
2 egg whites, beaten
2 tb oil
I 1/2 c milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
4 3/4 c whole wheat flour
Dissiolve yeast in water; set aside. Scald milk (use skim for lower fat), remove from heat and add oil, sugar, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Cool to lukewarm; add yeast, egg whites and flour, mixing thoroughly. Cover with towel, raise till double (I hour). Roll out 1/2 to 3/4 thick, cut with cutter and place on non-stick baking sheet.
Raise for 20 min. Bake at 425 for 8-10 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
