2 c. mashed potatoes
7 pkg yeast, dissolved in 1 c. water
4 eggs, beaten
3 c. scalded milk
1 c. sugar
8 tbsp sugar
12 C flour
2 tbsp salt

Cream shortening, sugar, salt and potatoes. Mix in rest of ingredients & blend well. Let rise till double. Pat out and cut out with donut cutter. Place on dish towel and let rise again. Fry in hot oil and glaze.
