1 c. raw carrot, grated
1 c. raw potato, grated
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 c. raisin
2/3 c. nuts

Mix carrots, potato, sugar, butter and eggs together. Add flour soda, salt and spices. Add raisins and nuts. Pour batter in greased mold pans, approx. 2/3 full. Set on rack of boiling water and steam for 3 hours.
