Dissolve:
1 pkg dry yeast in 2 c. lukewarm water
Beat 4 egg yolks & add to yeast mixture with 1 tsp vanilla
Sift together:
2 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
Add to liquid ingredients. Stir in 1/2 c. melted butter and combine thoroughly. Beat 4 egg whites stiff & carefully fold into batter. Let mixture stand in warm place about 45 minutes or until double in bulk. Use 1/2 c. mix per waffle.
