1 1/2 c. molasses
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbs. vinegar
1 Tbs. butter
1/8 t. soda
1/8 t. salt
Combine molasses, sugar and vinegar and cook to a hard-ball stage.
Add butter, soda and salt; remove from heat and stir until soda is blended. Pour on to a greased platter. When cool, pull between greased fingertips until white and stiff. Cut into pieces. Wrap in wax paper.
